AN HOTEL WITH MORE THAN 700 YEARS OF HISTORY.
Built in the Middle Ages, in Saint-Sylvestre, the Château has more than 700 years of histrory. Initially a fortified farm, the building has evolved over the course of its successive owners. In the 16th and 17th centuries, work was undertaken to create new buildings and new towers. In the 18th century, the windows were also completely re-pierced into an arch.
In the 19th century, the estate passed through marriage into the Dordaygue family, for whom a main building was built to the south. The complex was restored in 1992, before being converted into a luxury hotel.
A new lease of life was breathed into the château by Philippe Ginestet, a local boy and founding director of the GiFi distribution group. He bought the estate in 2011 and decided with his friend and architect Jacques Bru to create a hotel complex that is unique to the world. They want to breathe generosity, good humor and playfulness into luxury hotels and create somethng unique ; a colorful painting, nature and childlike carefreeness. A work that redefines the very function of architecture : breathing life into stone. And it is color that makes the heart of the estate beat. A tribute to Mother Nature with the 7 colors of the rainbow, but also a nod to the naive drawings of young children, the facades radiate good humor. At first glance, the guest cannot avoid the emotion that this place carries. As if by magic, the colors inspire a smile, a wonder, a firework of inner happiness.

THE ARTWORKS
In this park, which is entirely enclosed but nevertheless open to the public, there are many works of art and animal topiaries that have made the Château famous. This park welcomes young and old; it invites walks between shaded areas by age-old trees and grassy meadows where electric ladybugs silently mow. Stroll to the rhythm of the seasons, and let yourself be surprised during your walk by gigantic works of art.
